Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those search terms. If you send us a message, we receive the details you choose to provide and use them to answer.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary logs containing an IP address, browser type, visit time, and requested page. We review aggregated data to maintain the site and see which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How We Use Information
Limited visitor data supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to city, county, court, state, library, and outside search services. Information entered on any linked service falls under that operator's privacy terms, not ours. The same rule applies to sponsored results supplied by a third-party provider.
When Information Is Shared
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it, but otherwise do not share visitor data.
Safeguarding Limited Data
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes listed here. Because visitors create no account, we hold no account password or user profile.
Visitors Under Age 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor submitted information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Privacy rights can include access, correction, or deletion of personal data a website holds. California's Delete Act provisions in Civil Code ยงยง 1798.99.80 through 1798.99.86 create the DROP deletion mechanism for registered data brokers, with broker processing beginning August 1, 2026. That system does not make us the custodian of outside databases. We can review our contact mailbox and server logs for a request sent through the Contact page. Government records held by Los Banos, Merced County, California, or a court remain under that office's laws and correction process.
